GlobalFire delivers basic firefighting and pre-hospital emergency medical care training packages. The training is delivered to members of volunteer and professional firefighting organizations in developing countries, in order to enhance fire protection and emergency medical services in these communities.
In addition, we would like to let all volunteers know that we will be hosting cross-Canada training events this year. An email with further information will be sent out in the next week but the dates are as follows:

GlobalMedic is holding its 1st Annual Art Gallery Exhibit on Saturday, January 21st, 2012 at the Toronto Free Gallery. The exhibit will feature photographs that were taken by volunteers on their deployments with GlobalMedic around the world.
The event will raise money for the 2012 Cambodia Capacity Building Mission. In March, a team of GlobalMedic volunteers will head to Cambodia to provide medical training, donate medical supplies and distribute household water purification units throughout Siem Reap.
The event will be a chance to mingle with others, meet the team members, view beautiful photography and enjoy some food and drink while raising money for this important cause.
Admission is free and people are welcome throughout the day.
