IDP RESPONSE 2015

The situation in Ukraine is dire with parts of Donetsk and Luhansk suffering shelling on a daily basis. Over 6,200 people have been killed and the threat to civilian life caused over 1.17 million people to become internally displaced in an attempt to escape the violence. Hospitals and clinics are closed or only partially operational due to a lack of supplies and personnel. Health risks continue threaten families that are without access to clean water, hygiene supplies, and basic necessities.
