On June 11, 2011, members of GlobalMedic’s Rapid Response Team facilitated a training session for 120 new recruits wanting to join the RRT. The new recruits were trained on GlobalMedic's disaster relief equipment including our inflatable field hospitals and water purification equipment, in addition to our policies, procedures and protocols for deployment. They were also introduced to the new operational arm of the charity called GlobalWater, which will install water purification units on the household level in post disaster situations.
A special thanks goes out to all RRT members who helped facilitate this training session to ensure the day was a great success.
