The 2018 monsoon season brought heavy rains that caused mass flooding in seven regions in Myanmar. 130,000 people were displaced and 12 were killed. Thousands of families were staying in more than 300 refugee camps. The affected population was in desperate need of support. The flooding contaminated clean water sources which pose the threat of E. coli contamination and the spread of deadly communicable diseases.
