HURRICANE MATTHEW RESPONSE 2016

Devastation from Hurricane Matthew.

On October 4th, 2016 Hurricane Matthew – a Category 4 storm – made landfall in Haiti. The loss of life was appalling and the damage extensive. Food and water supplies quickly became a critical concern. GlobalMedic deployed it’s Rapid Response Team, who arrived in-country on the 6th and immediately implemented our Emergency Water Program – serving thousands a day with clean drinking water.
