FLOOD RESPONSE 2018

By mid-August 2018, flooding in nine states in Myanmar had killed at least 16 people and displaced more than 120,000. As the monsoon season persists, the risk of landslides remains high. Evacuation orders are in place for many flood-stricken areas.

Almost 863,000 people are in need of humanitarian assistance.

GlobalMedic sent a Rapid Response Team and humanitarian aid including clean water solutions and hygiene items to support the health of the displaced population.
