Experiencing its worst rains in 15 years, Nepal has become inundated with severe flooding since August 2017. Of Nepal’s 75 districts, 35 are experiencing widespread and detrimental impacts on life, livelihood, and infrastructure. Many families are still struggling to recover from the devastating earthquake in 2015. Together with local partners, GlobalMedic will respond in three of the worst-affected districts: Jhapa, Morang and Banke. The response will include the provision clean drinking water, hygiene items and other essential household items to keep families healthy and prevent the spread of waterborne disease.
