 SYRIAN REFUGEE CRISIS RESPONSE 2014

Since the beginning of the Syrian Civil War in 2011 millions of Syrian refugees have been seeking refuge.  In 2014, over 2.5 million Syrians were leaving the country, in early 2016, it was identified that over 13 million Syrians were in need of humanitarian support. Turkey has received more refugees than any country, with numbers around 600 thousand in 2014, and by 2016 those numbers were approaching 3 million.

GlobalMedic responded in 2014 implementing its Emergency Shelter and Emergency Water programs.
