PHILIPPINES: COMPRESSED EARTH BLOCK PROJECT 2014

We have released the second in our video series “After The Storm”, documenting the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.  Part 2 introduces the “Block Boys”. This group of young men were hired to operate the Impact 2001A machine that made the compressed earth blocks (CEB) used to build the permanent homes in the CEB Project we ran in the Tacloban region.

Watch the video to learn more about this amazing group and how they helped to build some of their very own permanent homes.
